STEM Astoria participants will use the Yellow Scope Chemistry set to do hands-on experiments. Children retain knowledge best through hands-on activities.

For this class, STEM Astoria participants will conduct hands-on experiments to learn about Carbon Dioxide (CO2) and the role in human physiology and our natural world. These visually-appealing “Reaction Time” exercises are sure to spark curiosity and creativity in our child-friendly Chemistry laboratory.
